WORK SYSTEM DESIGN LABORATORY
The Work System Design Laboratory equips students with the essential skills for thriving in diverse workplace environments, ranging from corporate offices to manufacturing facilities. Through hands-on training and theoretical knowledge, students learn to analyse, design, and optimize organizational workflows. They gain expertise in process improvement methodologies, project management, and workplace ergonomics.
ERGONOMICS LABORATORY
The Ergonomics Laboratory is dedicated to the study and application of human-cantered design principles in various work environments. Students engage in practical experiments and research to understand the interaction between humans and their work environment, focusing on factors such as posture, movement, and workstation design. Through specialized equipment and simulations, students analyse ergonomic risks and develop solutions to enhance safety, comfort, and efficiency in workplaces.
COMPUTING LABORATORY
The computing laboratory serves as a versatile environment for various advanced technical subjects, including Optimization, Computer Aided Machine Drawing (CAMD), Data Analytics, and Discrete Simulation. OPTIMIZATION LABORATORY In the Optimization Laboratory, students explore mathematical modeling techniques and algorithmic solutions to enhance the performance of complex systems and processes. Through simulations and real-world case studies, they learn to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making across various fields, including logistics, manufacturing, and resource allocation. COMPUTER AIDED MACHINE DRAWING The Computer-Aided Machine Drawing segment trains students in the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and technical drawing principles. DATA ANALYTICS LABORATORY The Data Analytics Laboratory offers students a practical environment to explore statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling techniques. With user-friendly interfaces and powerful analytical tools, students learn to manipulate and interpret data across various disciplines DISCRETE SIMULATION LABORATORY The Discrete Simulation Laboratory immerses students in the world of discrete event simulation, enabling them to model and analyse complex systems with discrete, dynamic components.
AUTOMATION LABORATORY
The Automation Laboratory provides students with a comprehensive understanding of modern automation technologies and their applications across industries. Through practical exercises and project-based learning, students gain hands-on experience in programming and operating automated systems such as CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Pick and Place Robot, etc.
MEASUREMENT LABORATORY
The Measurement Laboratory provides students with practical experience in utilizing a wide range of measurement techniques and instruments crucial for engineering and scientific applications. Through hands-on exercises and project-based learning, students explore tools such as micrometers, calipers, and spectrometers, honing their skills in data analysis and result interpretation. This comprehensive approach equips them with the expertise needed for success in fields like research, quality control, and engineering. Furthermore, students gain proficiency in understanding measurement uncertainties and ensuring accurate data acquisition.
