Programming Lab - I

Programming lab -1 is a lab where the lower semester students performs their laboratory courses like, IT7312 Object Oriented Programming and Advanced Data Structure Laboratory, IT7511 ComputerNetworks laboratory, IT5511ComputerNetworks Laboratory for the ODD semester, IT5311 Programming and Data Structures Laboratory IT5301 Digital Logic and Design Laboratory; IT7211 Information Technology Essentials and Data Structures Laboratory, EE5261 Electrical and Electronics Engineering Laboratory (R-19) IT5611 Embedded Systems and Internet of Things Laboratory (R-19). A total of 58 personal computers are available with a minimum of 4GB RAM to a maximum of 8GB RAM and core Duo2 processor, i5 and i7 processor has been put up. All these systems along with 2 servers – Oracle12C Database Server and Qualnet Server are connected through 5 Network Switches -HP5500 24port Layer Network Switch, Extreme S430-24p Network Switch and Cisco 2960G-24p Network Switch. To facilitate state of art the lab is equipped with Ahuja Amplifier with 4 Speakers, 2- Projectors, Sony VPL-EX120, Hitachi CP - X4015WN and Sony LCD TV.

Programming Lab- II

Programming lab -2 is a lab where the students performs their core subjects laboratory courses like, IT7711 Graphics and Multimedia Laboratory, IT5312 Database Management Systems Laboratory (R-19), IT5512 Web Technologies Laboratory (R-19), IT5511 Computer Networks Laboratory (R-19), IT7612 Information Security and Mobile Computing Laboratory, IT7613 Integrated Programming Laboratory, IT7412 Web Technology Laboratory, IT7411 Operating Systems Laboratory, IT5211 Information Technology Essentials Laboratory (R-19), IT5411 Operating Systems Laboratory (R-19)EE5261 Electrical and Electronics Engineering Laboratory (R-19). A total of 66 personal computers are available with a minimum of 8GB RAM to a maximum of 16GB RAM with i7 processor has been put up. All these systems along with 2 servers – Oracle12C Database Server and Qualnet Server are connected through 4 Network Switches Aruba 2930F 24port plus 4 SFP Network Switch – 1 No, Dlink DES-1024D – 2 Nos and Cisco2960G-24p. To facilitate state of art the lab is equipped with Ahuja Amplifier with 4 Speakers, 2- Projectors (Hitachi CP - X4015WN, Hitachi CP - X3030WN) and Sony LCD TV, 2MPIPNetworkCamera–2 Nos.

Hardware Lab

Hardware Lab is located in 3rd floor where it is specifically meant for doing all hardware related laboratory courses like Digital and Database Systems Laboratory and Embedded Systems and IoT Laboratory with the maximum occupancy of 30 students per session. The lab has been equipped with 10, Core2 Duo Processor with 4GB RAM to work with all embedded-C programming also the Digital IC Trainer kits to work for Digital laboratory for the implementation of combinational and sequential circuits with all MSI ICs and required Components for implementing IT7311 Digital and Database Systems Laboratory and also has the equipped components to work for the experiments of IT5611 Embedded Systems and Internet of Things Laboratory.

Project Lab

The Project Lab can be found on the second floor and is designed for upper-semester students who want to delve into practical aspects of essential professional subjects. These subjects encompass a range of specialized laboratories including IT7712 Mini Project, IT5312 Database Management Systems Laboratory, IT5512 Web Technologies Laboratory, IT5711 Mobile and Security Laboratory, IT5712 Project I, IT7811 Project Work, IT5211 Information Technology Essentials Laboratory, IT5412 Advanced Data Structures Laboratory, IT5411 Operating Systems Laboratory, IT5612 Data Analytics and Cloud Computing Laboratory, and IT5811 Project II. In order to facilitate students in tackling the complexities of advanced information technology concepts, the lab is outfitted with a total of 80 Intel Core i7 Processors paired with either 16GB or 8GB RAM. Among these computers, 70 are furnished with 2GB Nvidia Graphics cards. These machines are interlinked using 2 Aruba Network switches. For a cutting-edge learning environment, the lab is also supplied with 8 Ahuja PA Wall Speakers, 2 Cordless Microphones, and 2, 2MP IP Network Cameras.

PG Lab

The Postgraduate (PG) lab encompasses various resources to enhance advanced studies in information technology. Lab hours are set at 28 hours/week during odd semesters and 40 hours/week during even semesters. The lab covers a range of subjects including Data Structures Laboratory (IF 7111), Distributed Systems Laboratory (IF 7211), Data Engineering Laboratory (IF5261), Technical Seminar and Report Writing (IF 7311), Project Work Phase I (IF 7312), and Project Work Phase II (IF 7411), providing a comprehensive learning environment for postgraduate students in information technology. This comprehensive setup in the PG lab enables students to delve deeply into various aspects of information technology, supported by advanced computer systems, networking infrastructure, display equipment, and dedicated lab hours for practical coursework. The PG lab is equipped with 15 Acer Veriton systems featuring Intel Core i5 Processors, 8GB DDR3 Memory Cards, and 500GB Internal Hard Disks. It also includes a Cisco SG95-24 24-port Gigabit Switch for networking, an LG LED TV for display, and a Data Server.
