Rubber Processing Laboratory
The Rubber Processing Laboratory consists of a Banbury Mixer(Advanced Machinery used in Top Tyre Industries), Compression Moulding, Two Roll Mills (4) and an Extruder. The Rubber Processing Laboratory is maintained with all safety measurements like Fire Sensors, Operator/Safety Zone lines and The lab is also maintained by experienced professionals. The students get hands-on experience where they can gain more knowledge with theory.
Rubber Testing Laboratory
The Rubber Testing lab equipped with Rubber Process Analyzer-Advanced in Rubber Testing, Din Abrasion test, Mooney Viscometer, Universal Testing Machine, Moving Die Rheometer (MDR),Good-rich Flexometer, Moisture Analyzer, 2 nos Tensile and Tear sample Cutter and De-Mattia Flex Meter. The lab is maintained by experienced professionals.
Plastic Processing Laboratory
The Plastic Processing Laboratory facilitated Scrap Grinder, Blow Moulding, Pelletizer, Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Single & Twin Screw injection Moulding and Extruder. The lab is maintained by experienced technical staff. The students get hands-on experience where they can gain more knowledge with theory.
Plastic Testing Laboratory
The Plastic Testing Lab consists of facilities like UTM, MFI, Vicat Softening Point, Izod and Charpy Impact, Dart Falling Tester, Opacity Tester, and Rockwell Hardness Tester.
CAD laboratory
CAD Lab consists of Advanced Pre-installed software on Windows computers for the practice of the student in Simulation.
Polymer Science Laboratory
Polymer Science lab contains all the Advanced facilities for research and learning purposes.
Composite Laboratory
The Composite Laboratory will be spacious with basic equipment for making composite products, which engages or motivates innovation in the field of polymer composites. The lab is equipped with processing techniques like Hand Layup , Vacuum bagging/infusion, spray-up, and compression moulding machines. Students can perform tests like tensile, flexural, impact, and interlaminar shear stress (ILSS). Also, the lab is equipped with a diamond specimen cutter to prepare the samples for testing.Â
Classrooms, Conference Hall and Department Library
Classrooms are equipped with Whiteboard and Projectors with Security Software. The Department library consists of many books related to Rubber, Plastic, Composite, Adhesives and Many Previous Project Records. Conference Hall with a Large Monitor helps the students to develop their Way of Explaining their Projects.
